Do you struggle to choose new glasses? Do you really know what looks great on you? Do you find that you often go for the same style, year after year? If the answer is yes, then you are not alone and for that reason we have introduced our unique, eyewear styling consultation. But what is an eyewear styling consultation and how is it different to the way most other opticians work?
What is an eyewear styling consultation?
It is our unique process that makes selecting new eyewear easier and more enjoyable. It is an individual consultation, with a trained eyewear styling specialist, that allows us to define what shape, colour and style of eyewear works best for you. Once we know this, a small range of frames will be selected from our exclusive collections, showcasing a range of styles that will work for you. It is very relaxed, enjoyable and fun, and there is no obligation to buy.
Why is a styling consultation important?
Let’s be honest, not many people WANT to wear glasses! But if you need to, you absolutely should wear glasses that make you look and feel great, get loads of comments and that you love to wear. The problem is that most people don’t really know what to choose, and over the years I have seen many people make the same mistakes with their glasses, picking styles and colours that don’t suit their personality and individual features. They get overwhelmed by looking at hundreds of frames, when only a handful are suitable, and end up going for the same sort of style every time. It’s not fun, it’s a chore!
Eyewear styling allows us to help clients discover eyewear that they enjoy and love to wear.
How does it work?
Step 1 - Following your eye exam, your optometrist will discuss your needs with a dispensing optician (this is important, after all seeing clearly is as important as looking good!). We will discuss your needs and recommend the best lenses to optimise your vision.
Step 2 - To help us discover the best eyewear for you, we need to discover your eyewear style personality. Six simple questions help us work out what you will like and what you won’t. As trained eyewear stylist, we will also determine what colours will best suit your natural features.
Step 3 - By now we will have a good idea of what will, and won’t, work for you. Suddenly a choice of over 900 frames has become a dozen or so. While you relax and enjoy a complimentary drink, we will select and present to you a small, personalised range of eyewear, and at least one of them will be the one for you.
That’s it. Simple, hassle-free and enjoyable, you might even discover a few things about yourself that you didn’t know before. We will never pressure you to make a decision and there is no obligation to purchase on the day.
